This is going to be the shortest blog post you will read on my site. Heather’s Perfect Steak is simple.
Large RibEye Steak (1 2/2 – 2 inches thick) fresh from your local butcher – mine is Bloor Meat Market. The butchers there are super amazing, they are very helpful, knowledgeable and cute! If you like hot butchers, head over and get your beef.
Season your steak with salt and fresh ground peper
Let your steak sit until it’s at room tempture
Heat a heavy frying pan to med-high with a drop of olive oil
Put your steak in the pan – SIZZLE! leave in pan for 2 min then flip for another two
This should give you a rare steak, which in my opinion is the only way to eat it. Enjoy.
