This is a bit of an oxymoron. The Burger Priest is my new favourite burger place, however I don’t give it a perfect rating because last time I had one, I woke up at 2am with the WORST stomach ache. BUT I will be back, yes, I will, the taste is too great not to.
There is always a line up out the door on Queen Street at Burger Priest, and for good reason. They make great burgers! I have tried the cheese burger two times now and Shawn has had the Priest and Pope. The Priest is a cheeseburger with the “Option”, the “Option” is a cheese stuffed mushroom that is deep fried. The Pope (seen below) isn’t even on the menu, it’s a double Priest with Option. I didn’t think he would be able to eat it, but in true Shawn form he pulled through and did…although he was up at 2am with me.
The burgers are plain, but plain is good to me. Just good quality beef with a little seasoning cooked med-rare to perfection. I have been suggesting eating here to everyone I know lately and they have all agreed with me – amazing burgers! But my sister does add this side note, amazing burger for the price. 
If you have $25 bucks for a dinner for two, you like burgers and fresh cut fries, head on down to Queen east and hail to the priest.
