Friday night a few weeks ago Shawn and I decided to check out our local Pub Factory Girl. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to a cool cozy atmosphere. There is a bar at the front with a few tables by the window and booths along the side. Once you leave the front area the back room is equally as cool. Finished all in black with old black and white photo’s on the walls. It’s not fine dinning, but it’s a great little spot to grab dinner on a Friday night.
The service was good, our server was friendly was attentive. For our starter we had Calamari, fresh squid lightly battered and deep fried…and it was fresh, not that frozen crap! It was severed over mixed greens served with lemon and tzatziki
For my main, I had the Agnolotti, agnolotti stuffed with spinach and ricotta in creamy tomato sauce. It was also freshly made and very yummy. The serving size was large, however it was an off WW week so I managed to eat all of it!
Shawn had the Fish & Chips, fresh halibut dipped in their own batter and fresh cut yukon gold fries. A HUGE serving!
All in all dinner was less than $60 with wine, a cheap date night. I’d like to go back and check out the back patio, it looked nice and airy but packed when we arrived at 6:30pm.
