I’m like a junkie when I find a good drama or comedy that revolves around cooking. Every time I watch one I’m inspired to re-create the recipes and go out and buy new gadgets for my kitchen.
Here are my Top 3 Favourite movies about Cooking:
- Julie and Julia – If you watch this movie and don’t fall head over heals in love with Julia Child you are dead inside! She is an adorable women with whit and style all her own. She is the kind of confident women we should aspire to be. One of my favourite scene’s..
2. No Reservations – “I wish there was a cookbook for life, recipes telling us exactly what to do”, I’m sure we all feel this way from time to time. Where we admit that we don’t have all the answers and we just want someone, something to guide us.
3. CHEF – The first 15 min of this movie I thought…B rate. But then it grew on me, and I was completely immersed in the story of the struggling Chef/Father/Husband. The movie isn’t scared to shine it’s main theme, it’s a feel good movie through and through. Oh and who doesn’t like watching a character do what we all dream of doing at one time or another…telling someone to F&%K right off.
I think I’m going to get in my comfy pants and watch one of these right now.
